Why is the investment for event services not listed on your website? 

The events we produce for our clients are as unique as the clients themselves. As such, it is impossible for us to predict what your event will ultimately cost. The overall investment for your event will be dependent on various factors including location, guest count, menu selections, lead times, custom installations, etc.  

Our process is such that we do not provide a final event budget to our clients until the scope of work has been determined and creative partners have been selected. Although every client's customized event budget will vary, you can expect our total planning fee to range between 15% to 17% of your event's overall gross budget (depending on scope of work). For all of our events, we have a required minimum planning fee of $18,000 in order to contract our services. 

We understand that the investment for your wedding or event is a major decision so, rest assured that nothing is ever done without your prior approval. 

The best way to learn more about how we can best serve you in this capacity is to schedule an introductory phone call. During this call we’ll get to know each other better, learn more about the details of your event and determine if we’re the right fit to move forward together and begin planning your dream event.

Does LAPORTE & COMPANY offer day of coordination services for events? 

No, we do not and here’s why. 

Like any intricate puzzle that requires specific pieces for it all to come together, solely coming in to execute an event day of leaves out many of the crucial elements, contextual pieces and details that we would need to have and know in order to ensure the ultimate success of your event. 

Our company policy is to provide a white glove, concierge level experience for our clients and their guests from beginning to end. As planners, the nuances of an event don’t live inside the planning documents that you may provide to us for the day of the event. They live in the details of the series of conversations that were had in the lead up to your event. We believe our clients deserve our absolute best. If we cannot guarantee that we can deliver on that promise, we do not take on a project.  

How many clients do you typically take on each year?

To do our best work and ensure we do not compromise the caliber of concierge-level service we provide to our clientele, we only take on a select number of full-service clients each year. 

Our approach to the planning of your event means that we are intimately involved in the design and curation of each component and detail, so the result is an experience unlike any other. We are with you every step of the way – from concept to completion – and during the time that we’re working together you have our undivided attention. 

What is the policy around information products that are purchased through your site?  

Upon completion of your purchase, you have immediate access to the digital content requested. Due to the nature of the products offered and the fact that knowledge cannot be reversed once it is received, we do not offer refunds on information products.
